April 15, 2025: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 In Tuesday's league test, the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), by a count of 17-4.
Next, the Red Wolves meet the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 16. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Steelmen go into the test with a 2-9 record after their 19-1 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL).
The Hawks (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Oak Forest was routed by Richards (Oak Lawn, IL), 3-2, in a league test.
