New Jersey High School Softball - Vernon bounces Lenape Valley
April 15, 2025: Stanhope, NJ 07874 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Vernon Vikings softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Lenape Valley Patriots.
The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ). The Cougars come into the NJAC - Freedom match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Kittatinny Regional was routed by Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ), 4-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. Lenape Valley will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
