New Jersey High School Softball - Montclair edges Nutley
April 15, 2025: Montclair, NJ 07042 In Tuesday's league match, the host Montclair Mounties softball team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Nutley Maroon Raiders.
The Mounties (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen come into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Newark Academy by Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 14-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Maroon Raiders battle the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) in a SEC - Liberty match, on Wednesday, April 16. Nutley will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
