In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), by a tally of 4-3.

Next up, the Golden Rams encounter the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 17. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).

The Trojans (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions enter the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Greensburg Central Catholic edged Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 10-2, in a league bout.
