The Verdugo Hills Dons softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Poly Parrots to 4 in the Dons league win on Wednesday.

The Dons now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Fernando for a Valley Mission battle on Friday, April 17. Verdugo Hills will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Poly moves to 5-7 on the season. The Parrots travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a Valley Mission battle on Friday, April 17. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 4-9. Arleta lost 7-2 in their recent league battle against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA)
