Alabama High School Softball - Pleasant Valley can't get by Buckhorn
April 16, 2022: New Market, AL 35761 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) softball team held off the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Buckhorn moves its record to 14-12 on the year. The Bucks host Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 20-9. Scottsboro lost 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Plainview (Rainsville, AL)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 20. Pleasant Valley will attempt to move on its 18-14 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, AL).
