April 16, 2022: Crete, IL 60417 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) softball team the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), by a margin of 7-4.
With the triumph, Peotone improves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL) to clash with the Comets in a Illinois Central Eight game on Monday, April 18. The Comets come into the game with a record of 2-4. Reed-Custer lost 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Woodland (Streator, IL)
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a Southland Athletic game, on Monday, April 18. Crete-Monee will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
