Illinois High School Softball - St. Charles East bounces Plainfield North
April 16, 2022: St. Charles, IL 60174 St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard North for a DuKane challenge on Monday, April 18. St. Charles East will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to face the Indians in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Monday, April 18. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Minooka won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
