Illinois High School Volleyball - Loyola Academy can't hold off St. Francis
April 16, 2024: Wilmette, IL 60091 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.
The Spartans (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Niles West was edged by Highland Park (Highland Park, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Ramblers encounter the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue battle, on Thursday, April 18. Loyola Academy will attempt to advance on its 17-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL).
