The Esperanza Aztecs lacrosse squad (Anaheim, CA), was overwhelmed 14-7 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA)

Coming up next, the Vanguards meet the Crean Lutheran Saints (Irvine, CA) in a Crestview challenge, on Thursday, April 18. El Modena will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA).

The Aztecs now sport a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Yorba Linda for a Crestview challenge on Thursday, April 18. Esperanza will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-10 non-league win over St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-9.
