Arkansas High School Soccer - De Queen knocks off Mena
April 16, 2024: De Queen, AR 71832 De Queen Leopards (De Queen, AR) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), 8-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Leopards face the Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 18. De Queen will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Razorbacks enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR).
The Bearcats now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Arkadelphia for a 4A South challenge on Friday, April 19. Mena will face a Badgers team coming off a 6-0 league win over Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 5-8.
