Kansas High School Softball - Basehor-Linwood holds off Turner
April 16, 2024: Basehor, KS 66007 Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. Basehor-Linwood will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over De Soto (De Soto, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Turner falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Schlagle (Kansas City, KS) to battle the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Schlagle lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Atchison (Atchison, KS)
