Illinois High School Softball - Waltonville bounces Cisne
April 16, 2024: Cisne, IL 62823 Waltonville Spartans (Waltonville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cisne Runnin' Lions (Cisne, IL), 19-0 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Waltonville will battle a Redbirds squad coming off a 15-9 league loss to DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Cisne falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Runnin' lions travel to Edwards County (Albion, IL) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 14-8.
