Kentucky High School Softball - Henry Clay bounces Corbin
April 16, 2024: Corbin, KY 40701 Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bath County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Henry Clay will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Corbin falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Redhounds travel to Clay County (Manchester, KY) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Clay County won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Knox Central (Barbourville, KY)
