New Hampshire High School Softball - Franklin bounces Sunapee
April 16, 2024: Franklin, NH 03235 Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), 15-3 in a league challenge.
The Tornadoes now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portsmouth Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Franklin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Nute (Milton, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Sunapee falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Epping (Epping, NH) to face the Blue Devils in a Division IV challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
