April 16, 2024: Dothan, AL 36303 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Providence Christian Eagles (Dothan, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Geneva County Bulldogs (Hartford, AL), by a margin of 13-1.
With the triumph, Providence Christian moves its record to 7-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Daleville (Daleville, AL) to play the Warhawks in a 3A Area 2 contest on Thursday, April 18. The Warhawks go into the battle with a record of 0-13. Daleville lost 16-2 in their recent league battle against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL)
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to New Brockton for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 18. Geneva County will meet a Gamecocks squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Samson (Samson, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 6-15.
