New York High School Softball - Iroquois bounces Griffith Institute
April 16, 2024: Springville, NY 14141 The Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY) softball routed the host Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), 13-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Chiefs (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Tonawanda was routed by Depew (Depew, NY), 18-1, in a non-league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Lackawanna for a Section 6 Erie County IV bout on Thursday, April 18. Griffith Institute will confront a Steelers squad coming off a 11-4 league loss to Alden (Alden, NY). The Steelers record now stands at 0-2.
