Texas High School Softball - Itasca falls to Hico
April 16, 2024: Hico, TX 76457 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Hico Tigers softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Itasca Wampus Cats.
Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX) in a 1A Region II District 12 outing, on Friday, April 19. Hico will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 12-10 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX).
The Wampus Cats (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Region II District 12 outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Hamilton was routed by Hico (Hico, TX), 10-0, in a league outing.
