New York High School Softball - Walton bounces Kennedy
April 16, 2024: Bronx, NY 10463 Walton Wildcats (Bronx, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Kennedy Knights (Bronx, NY), 20-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host DeWitt Clinton for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Walton will face a Governors squad coming off a 16-14 league loss to Lehman (Bronx, NY). The Governors record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Kennedy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Columbus (Bronx, NY) to face the Blue Steel in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Blue Steel enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Columbus won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Truman (Bronx, NY)
