The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Hinckley-Big Rock Royals to 5 in the Raiders non-league win on Wednesday.

The Raiders now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Eastland for a Northwest Upstate Illini - East test on Friday, April 18. Ashton-Franklin Center will play a Cougars team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Hinckley-Big Rock drops to 6-7 on the year. The Royals travel to Newark (Newark, IL) to play the Norsemen in a Little Ten outing on Monday, April 21. The Norsemen enter the outing with a record of 7-11.
