The Amboy Clippers baseball squad (Amboy, IL), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL)

With the triumph, Ashton-Franklin Center moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL) to confront the Sobos in a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. The Sobos come into the contest with a record of 6-4. South Beloit lost 9-7 in their recent league contest against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL)

The Clippers now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Ridge/Scales Mound for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 12. Amboy will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Warren/Stockton (Warren, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-5.
