The Bishop Shanahan Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Oxford Hornets to 11 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coatesville for a Ches-Mont test on Monday, April 21. Bishop Shanahan will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 4-2 league win over Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 10-2.

With the defeat, Oxford drops to 4-8 on the year. The Hornets host Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to play the Blue Demons in a Ches-Mont test on Monday, April 21. The Blue Demons go into the test with a record of 5-7. Kennett won 5-4 in their recent league test against Downingtown East (Exton, PA)
