In Wednesday's league game, the host Crown Point Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Valparaiso Vikings.

The Bulldogs (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Penn held off South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Vikings face the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. Valparaiso will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 7-4 league loss to Delta (Muncie, IN).
