The De La Salle Spartans baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Junipero Serra Padres to 2 in the Spartans non-league win on Wednesday.

The Spartans now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Bay for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. De La Salle will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Junipero Serra drops to 16-4 on the year. The Padres travel to Benicia (Benicia, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 11-3. Benicia won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA)
