Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 13-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Streamwood advances its record to 5-8 on the season. The Sabres host Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to battle the Rams in a Metro Suburban - Red match on Thursday, April 17. The Rams come into the match with a record of 8-4. Glenbard East won 12-1 in their recent league match against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL)

The Maroons now have a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elmwood Park for a Metro Suburban - Red match on Thursday, April 17. Elgin will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
