Virginia High School Baseball - Kellam defeats Norfolk Academy
April 16, 2025: Norfolk, VA 23502 The Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) baseball trounced the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 12-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kempsville for a Beach challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Kellam will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Erie (Erie, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Norfolk Academy drops to 10-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Ambassadors in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Ambassadors go into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Norfolk Christian won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Nandua (Onley, VA)
