April 4, 2025: Norfolk, VA 23502 The First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) baseball trounced the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kempsville for a Beach challenge on Tuesday, April 8. First Colonial will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 8-5 league loss to Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Norfolk Academy drops to 8-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Crusaders in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Catholic lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Steward (Richmond, VA)
