West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Potosi Trojans (Potosi, MO), 6-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, West County advances its record to 14-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Valle Catholic (Ste. Genevieve, MO) to battle the Warriors in a Class 2 District 4 match on Thursday, April 17. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 14-1. Valle Catholic won 19-0 in their recent league match against Kingston (Cadet, MO)

The Trojans now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league match on Thursday, April 17. Potosi will battle a Knights squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.
