In Wednesday's league bout, the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) baseball squad edged the host Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH), by a tally of 9-8.

Next up, the Blue Devils encounter the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet bout, on Thursday, April 17. Western Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Lakeview (Cortland, OH).
