South Carolina High School Softball - Woodmont edged by Belton-Honea Path
April 16, 2025: Piedmont, SC 29673 Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Belton-Honea Path improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Crescent (Iva, SC) to play the Tigers in a AAA Region 1 game on Thursday, April 17. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-4. Crescent won 12-5 in their recent league game against West-Oak (Westminster, SC)
The Wildcats now hold a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to J.L. Mann for a AAAAA Region 1 game on Thursday, April 17.
