Ohio High School Softball - Fort Frye held off by Frontier
April 16, 2025: Beverly, OH 45715 The Frontier Cougars got by the host Fort Frye Cadets softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 18. Frontier will attempt to upgrade on its 12-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH).
The Cadets (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks go into the challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Point Pleasant held off George Washington (Charleston, WV), 11-8, in a non-league challenge.
