The Hanover Central Wildcats triumphed over the host Hammond Morton Governors softball squad by a count of 17-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Hanover Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 9-3 league win over Highland (Highland, IN).
