McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 17-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, McClintock advances its record to 14-8 on the season. The Chargers travel to Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, April 17. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 4-15. Kellis lost 22-2 in their recent league match against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

The Knights now have a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carl Hayden Community for a 5A Metro match on Friday, April 17. Metro Tech will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 7-7.
