California High School Softball - Foothill bounces West

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Foothill Trojans softball team scored a nice 17-5 victory over the West Vikings.

The Trojans (3-11) will now prepare for their match against Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA). The Suns go into the South Yosemite Horizon match with a 7-13 record. In their last match, Del Oro was routed by Arvin (Arvin, CA), 16-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA) in a South Yosemite Mountain match, on Tuesday, April 21. West will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 11-9 record after their 13-3 league win over North (Bakersfield, CA).
