The Larkin Royals softball squad (Elgin, IL), was routed 13-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL)

With the triumph, South Elgin improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Storm host Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to face the Sabres in a Upstate Eight contest on Monday, April 20. The Sabres enter the contest with a record of 0-8. Streamwood lost 24-3 in their recent non-league contest against Addison Trail (Addison, IL)

The Royals now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host St. Bede for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 18. Larkin will face a Bruins squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Woodland (Streator, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 12-3.
