Indiana High School Softball - Norwell nudges South Adams

Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Adams Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 19. Norwell will battle a Flying Jets squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN). The Flying Jets record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, South Adams falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Starfires travel to Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 20. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Homestead lost 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Huntington North (Huntington, IN)
