April 17, 2023: Buckingham, VA 23921 The Fuqua Falcons baseball team (Farmville, VA), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA)
The Knights now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Amelia County for a James River outing on Tuesday, April 18. Buckingham will face a Raiders team coming off a 15-5 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Falcons face the Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA) in a Virginia Colonial outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Fuqua will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 6-3 record after their 9-6 league win over Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA).
