April 17, 2023: Santee, CA 92071 The El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) baseball trounced the host Santana Sultans (Santee, CA), 8-1 in Monday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Vaqueros play the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a contest, on Wednesday, April 19. El Capitan will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 10-7 league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA).
The Sultans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a contest on Friday, April 21. Santana will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
