April 17, 2023: Purcellville, VA 20132 Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons confront the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a Potomac challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Briar Woods will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Independence (Ashburn, VA).
The Wolverines now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a Potomac challenge on Wednesday, April 19. Woodgrove will confront a Ram team coming off a 3-1 league win over Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Ram record now stands at 7-1.
