New York High School Softball - Tappan Zee bounces Clarkstown North
April 17, 2023: Orangeburg, NY 10962 Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Dutchmen now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pelham Memorial for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Tappan Zee will battle a Pelicans squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Fox Lane (Bedford, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Clarkstown North falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Scarsdale won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, NY)
