Pennsylvania High School Softball - Upper Dauphin Area bounces Newport
April 17, 2023: Elizabethville, PA 17023 The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) softball routed the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), 5-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Montoursville was routed by Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 10-9, in a league bout.
The Buffaloes now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Juniata for a Tri-Valley bout on Wednesday, April 19. Newport will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 11-7 league win over Line Mountain (Herndon, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
