Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Wynne will face a Patriots squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Pocahontas falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Corning (Corning, AR) to face the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 20. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Corning won 21-11 in their recent league challenge against Piggott (Piggott, AR)
