April 17, 2023: Cherokee, KS 66724 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Uniontown Eagles (Uniontown, KS) and the host Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS), saw Uniontown's softball squad achieve victory over Southeast by a count of 16-0.
The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 18. Uniontown will face a Vikings squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Southeast falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 19. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-3. Yates Center won 17-3 in their recent non-league match against St. Paul (St. Paul, KS)
