Kansas High School Softball - Southeast knocked off by Yates Center
April 19, 2023: Yates Center, KS 66783 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS), by a margin of 19-3.
With the triumph, Yates Center moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Eureka (Eureka, KS) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 20. The Tornadoes come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Eureka lost 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Bluestem (Leon, KS)
In their next game, the Lancers play the Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 27. Southeast will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
