Maine High School Baseball - Pingree nips Berwick Academy
April 17, 2024: South Berwick, ME 03908 Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Berwick Academy Bulldogs (South Berwick, ME), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Pingree upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA) to battle the Governors in a non-league test on Friday, April 19. The Governors come into the test with a record of 5-2. Governor's Academy lost 5-2 in their recent league test against Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA)
With the defeat, Berwick Academy falls to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, April 19. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 5-0. Kents Hill School won 11-1 in their recent league test against Hebron Academy (Hebron, ME)
