Maine High School Baseball - Winthrop gets by Telstar
April 17, 2024: Winthrop, ME 04364 Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), 8-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Winthrop upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to battle the Black Bears in a Class C South test on Monday, April 22. The Black Bears come into the test with a record of 1-0. Maranacook won 3-2 in their recent league test against Madison (Madison, ME)
With the defeat, Telstar falls to 0-1 on the season. The Rebels host Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, April 22. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
