Kentucky High School Softball - Boyle County bounces Marion County
April 17, 2024: Lebanon, KY 40033 Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), 24-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garrard County for a District 45 challenge on Thursday, April 18. Boyle County will battle a Golden Lions squad coming off a 9-3 league win over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Marion County falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to battle the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Bruins enter the challenge with a record of 9-7. Central Hardin won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY)
