New Jersey High School Softball - Cranford bounces Johnson
April 17, 2024: Clark, NJ 07066 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) and the host Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), witnessed Cranford's softball squad prevail over Johnson by a count of 18-2.
The Cougars now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Summit for a non-league match on Friday, April 19. Cranford will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Johnson moves to 4-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Verona (Verona, NJ) to face the Hillbillies in a non-league match on Thursday, April 18. The Hillbillies go into the match with a record of 6-3. Verona won 7-4 in their recent league match against Millburn (Millburn, NJ)
