April 17, 2024: Tamaqua, PA 18252 The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) and the host Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), saw Tri-Valley's softball squad achieve victory over Marian Catholic by a count of 19-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams Valley for a Schuylkill II match on Friday, April 19. Tri-Valley will face a Vikings squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Weatherly (Weatherly, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Marian Catholic falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The travel to Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA) to face the Golden Bears in a Schuylkill III match on Friday, April 19. The Golden Bears enter the match with a record of 2-4. Mahanoy Area lost 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA)
