The Akron Tigers baseball squad (Akron, NY), was overwhelmed 14-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY)

With the triumph, Nichols moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lockport (Lockport, NY) to confront the Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Tigers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barker for a NO contest on Saturday, April 19. Akron will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Webber (Lyndonville, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
